Select guests, most of them residents of prestigious addresses also built by Bernard, gathered at the Biltmore on Greenbelt, the 30-storey neo-classic premier residential high-rise located at 102 Aguirre St. off Paseo de Roxas. The Biltmore was also constructed by Bernard.
Guests relaxed with cocktails and superb wines flown in from Europe while enjoying the soft breeze at the poolside atop the Biltmore.
It was the first time Bernard and his sons Alex and Clifford allowed guests to take a look at the Biltmore with its remarkable high ceilings and exquisite finishing. Bernard also pointed out that the building’s structural makeup was designed to withstand the test of time.
Alex, who is overseeing his father’s latest creation, welcomed the guests at the lobby before whisking them off to the lifts.He ushered the guests for a rare first look at each of the sprawling one-, two- and three-bedroom units with their impeccable interiors done by Ivy Almario, architect and interior designer par excellence.
After viewing the units, the guests were invited for cocktails at the top deck which has a breathtaking view of Makati and its surroundings. The guests sampled canapés, an array of European cheeses, bread, pasta and tender Australian lamb as well as choice pieces of young calf roasted on a spit. Of course, choice vintages from Bacchus’ superb wine collection flowed that night.
It was another coup for Bernard, Alex and Clifford, who have taken Makati’s latest premier address, Biltmore on Greenbelt, straight to the top. Congratulations Bernard, Alex and Clifford!
