If you had an extra hour in the day, what would you do?

If only I had more time!" This is a com-mon sentiment among busy people.
If you had an extra hour to do anything you want, what would you do? Me? I would make it my prayer time. I would pray for our nation to survive the myriad of problems it faces. I would pray for each of us to nurture good thoughts about each other and to be more giving. Then I can sleep well knowing that my extra time was well-spent.
Health Secretary Manuel Dayrit: Id play the piano, meditate or read a good book. I like reading philosophy. Occasionally, I would read novels or short stories. One of the books I just read was Beyond The Walls by somebody who had been in and out of the monastery. Or I can visit a friend and wed spend the time talking.
Gloria Angara: Id spend it just being together with my family.
Rita Dy, country manager, Singapore Airlines: Id like just to do nothing. Right? Wouldnt anyone want to do that?
Bart Guingona, stage actor/writer: Id snuggle with someone or something, anywhere for an hour in a dark cool cocoon-like room.
Karen Davila, TV host and news anchor, ABS-CBN: If I had an extra hour, Id spend it on my quiet time or I would get more sleep.
BIR Commissioner Rene Bañez: I would spend it with my wife, daughter and son. I would probably bring them to Tagaytay or Punta Fuego. These days I dont see them as often as I should, so if I had an extra hour, I would prefer to spend it with them.
Camarines Sur Congressman Rolando Andaya Jr., chairman Appropriations Committee: To be honest, I would spend the hour studying for the upcoming budget deliberations.
Maricar Bautista, news reporter, TV Patrol: I can do one of two things: Since I have insomnia, I could use the extra hour to sleep, so I can still get at least six to seven hours of sleep. That way, I can store enough energy to do my work well. Or I can just run some personal errands since weekends arent enough to do all of them.
Joey De Leon, TV host/comedian: Paint or travel. Pero sa one hour saan ako makakapunta? (laughs)
