Neny and Mandy Boy: Celebrating a most beautiful dawn

It was one of the most wonderful unions in recent memory, one that delighted Philippine society’s veritable gentry who came to witness the wedding between scions of two respected families.
Natividad "Neny" Montinola and Armando "Mandy Boy" Eduque III exchanged vows at the breathtaking St. James the Great Church in Ayala Alabang in rites officiated by Fr. Joel Tabora.
The resplendent Neny, radiant in an Inno Sotto gown, is the daughter of Serge and Ching Montinola. The dashing Mandy Boy is the son of Armando Jose "Mandy" Eduque Jr. and Baby Serrano Araneta.
The principal sponsors were former President Fidel Ramos and Imelda Cojuangco; Benito Araneta and Ambassador Isabel Wilson; Patrick Parsons and Menchu Concepcion; Mercy Tuason and Aurelio Montinola; Bienvenido Tantoco and Vivian Yuchengco; and Constantino Manahan and Ruby Meyer.
Jaime and Lizzie Zobel; Frank and Pamen Elizalde; Ernest and Josie Rufino; Ernie and Marivic Aboitiz; Nene Quimson; Bettina Aboitiz; and Oxie and Ruby Roxas were among the many guests.
Former Sen. Sotero and Lorna Laurel; Josie Lichauco; Trade Secretary Mar Roxas; Finance Secretary and Mrs. Lito Camacho; Ambassador Jesus Tambunting; Ambassador Johnny and Pilina Rocha; Ambassador Miguel and Tesy Perez Rubio; Ambassador Alfonso Yuchengco; Ambassador Manny and Eloy Yan; Justice Bernardo Pardo; and Justice Marivic Concepcion likewise graced the wedding.
The reception was held in a 500-square-meter air-conditioned white tent reminiscent of Ascot. La Tasca was responsible for the exquisite fare. The bridal cake was created by Marta Matute. Aunt Toni Parsons’ genius transformed the tent into a breathtaking venue.
