Pasta hack: How to make your dish creamier and more nutritious
MANILA, Philippines — Do you love pasta? Are you a fan of cream-based sauces? If you answered yes to both, then here’s a hack to make your favorite dish even yummier: Use milk to boil your pasta.
It can add 10 minutes to your cooking time but the combination of the starch from the pasta and the creaminess of the milk can make your carbonara or mac n’ cheese irresistible. Use twice the amount of milk as you would if you’re using water to make sure your dish won’t dry out.
The perfect choice for this hack is Real California Milk, which packs your pasta dish not just with extra creaminess but also with many nutrients. It is a source of high-quality protein, calcium, vitamin D and potassium according to MyPlate, the US Department of Agriculture’s food guide.
