Salvatore Ferragamo's chic and timeless pieces
MANILA, Philippines – The Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces Collection 2015 includes the Varina, F-80, Gancino Bracelet, Gancino Chic, Intreccio, Ferragamo 1898 Sport and Ferragamo 1898 Pair Watch, al launched at the 2015 Baselworld Watch and Jewellery Show.
Varina
Varina, the new Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces line for women, is inspired by the Vara bow, an iconic symbol of the Florence-based maison. The iconic gros-grain bow is transformed into an elegant decoration on the glossy patent leather strap, which can be replaced in a couple of simple steps with another strap entirely in gros-grain fabric. The Varina line can therefore be worn on any occasion.
F-80
F-80, Salvatore Ferragamo’s best-selling line, combines exclusivity with a sporty design. The new ladies' version has a steel or IP gold case, downsized to 33 mm in diameter, ideal also for smaller wrists. Six decorative screws on the bezel and the refined color shades of the dial are distinctive features of this collection. The new gents' version offers even more performance and appeal. Sporty and sophisticated, it has an important XL-sized case (44 mm in diameter) and the distinctive decorative features that define the entire collection: six screws on the bezel and the guilloché pattern on a black, silver, blue or dark brown dial.
Gancino Bracelet
Sophisticated colorways illuminate the soft and sinuous shapes of the new Gancino Bracelet line. The thin, rigid, acetate-clad bracelet is enhanced by a tortoiseshell effect in gray, tobacco and fuchsia. The design of the sunray dial is elegant and minimal featuring the small stick hands and four indices on the Gancino-shaped case.
Gancino Chic
The design of Gancino Chic reflects a perfect balance between craftsmanship and functionality. The standout feature of this timepiece is the sophisticated integration of the case with a vegetable tanned calfskin strap, interpreted in six color variations with contrasting ecru stitching. The top-of-the-range versions also feature a diamond-studded bezel.
Intreccio
Salvatore Ferragamo Timepieces presents the modern and linear collection Intreccio. In addition to the guilloché weave pattern on the dial, the timepiece’s modern appearance is further enhanced by the use of cylindrical fixtures for the strap rather than conventional lugs. The smaller version (31 mm) stands out for its bezel adorned by 48 pink, sky blue or orange topaz gemstones and a sophisticated color coordinated leather strap. The 36 mm version comes with an interchangeable bezel, either polished and decorated with the logo, or enamelled in the four vibrant colors of violet, black, ruby red and turquoise, combined with a charm on the case featuring carré cut topaz gemstones.
Ferragamo 1898 Sport
Featuring top performance and a high-profile sporty look, the Ferragamo 1898 Sport is the perfect expression of modern design combined with the excellence of Swiss watchmaking. With a masculine allure accentuated by the matte finish, the high-strength IP gray case — 43mm in diameter — can withstand up to 20 atmospheres of water pressure. The understated dial has luminescent hands and indices for ease of reading. The unidirectional rotating bezel with an aluminium top ring is essential to calculate the dive time.
Ferragamo 1898 Pair Watch
The Ferragamo 1898 Pair Watch collection celebrates the ties of couples and expresses their affinity of taste. Designed for couples, the Pair Watch is available in two different sizes (40 and 33 mm in diameter), the latter ideal for slender wrists, and has an IP gold steel case in the iconic Gancino shape. The timeless design is heightened by the play on two-tone metal featured on the case and bracelet, as well as being further embellished by the blue sunray dial with its special guilloché pattern.
