Bottega Veneta goes for the Forties-era feel
MANILA, Philippines - Bottega Veneta’s next collection is a continuation of the Forties-era feel that creative director Tomas Maier played with for spring.
The frocks have the same strong shoulder, nipped waist and vaguely Forties silhouette. Tailoring is indeed front and center. Also evident in the collection are separates that followed the skinny on the top and voluminous on the bottom principle, or vise versa, but of course, never falling short of a gorgeous color scheme. The focus is on body-slimming lines and simple ruffle detail — pieces that not only work year round but also for any occasion, all with the sense of femininity and ease.
Elegance has always been in the forefront of Bottega Veneta’s core, and this is evident in the women’s pre-fall 2013 collection.
In the Philippines, Bottega Veneta is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center and Rustan’s Makati.
