Kenneth Cole opens new store at BHS Central

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Kenneth Cole unveils a new look for its Bonifacio High Street Central boutique.

Bringing the feel of New York to the Philippines, the new store concept conveys the contemporary feel of the Kenneth Cole brand.  Mixing modern elements and technology with vintage materials, the store perfectly captures the urban essence of New York.

At the entrance, customers are welcomed with a vintage factory feel. Everything — from the building’s architecture to the steel sash windows  — is framed with heavy metal lintels and strong columns of white brick.

Inside the store, neutral white brick walls combine with weathered wood flooring reminiscent of a typical factory floor construction. Modern light shines through vintage-looking ceiling boards.  A perfect mix of contemporary and vintage, the store is complete with displays of white glass and machined aluminum.

Functional art pieces serve as an eye catching store element, as well as a way to connect the past to the present. There are simple modern hanging U-bars for apparel display, vintage carts used as mannequin stands, and industrial factory bins to showcase accessories.  The store is accented with accessories like vintage and modern tables and textured area rugs.

In the Philippines, Kenneth Cole New York is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at The Power Plant Mall, Bonifacio High Street Central, Rustan’s Makati, and Shangri-La Plaza Mall.
