Kids rule the runways
MANILA, Philippines - Fashionable boys and girls rocked the catwalk in Elle Kids Apparel at the recent Baby Couture Kidstock event held at the Spark House of Peninsula de Punta Fuego at Nasugbu, Batangas.
The young style savants opened the show in stylish resort wear from the French-inspired, nautical-themed collection of Elle Kids. Girls looked cute in polka-dotted, sleeveless tees paired with khaki pants; the boys were put together in handsome, preppy looks of Breton-striped shirts and cargo shorts.
The swimwear pieces were definitely scene-stealers, in bright hues. Bikinis, bathing suits and rash guards were drenched in eye-catching neon hues, combining shamrock green with tangerine, and midnight blue with fuchsia.
Casual, summer-ready picks were highlights of the show, too. Out came girls in breezy, fluid separates, adorned in layers of frills, tiers, and ruffles; while the boys flaunted their spring-inspired printed short-sleeved polos, collared shirts, and lightweight pullovers.
Dainty ballet flats and Mary Janes, as well as strappy and gemstone-encrusted sandals completed the girls’ fun, summer ensembles, while boys finished off their looks with aviator shades, boater hats, and espadrilles.
