Star's Run for Mom set May 8
MANILA, Philippines - On May 8, Mother’s Day, reward your mothers with the sweetest treats by grabbing special prizes from The Philippine STAR’s Run for Mom event at McKinley Hills in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Loads of freebies and prizes await participants who will be running the 2.5k and 5k race. The first 25 runners to finish the race from each category will win P2,500 each. They will also be taking home special gifts from Havaianas, Skechers, Body Shop, David’s Salon, Lay Bare Waxing Salon, Del Monte and Kelloggs gift packs plus other exciting gifts.
Participants will enjoy running with special celebrity mother-and-child teams. They also have a chance to win raffle prizes and enjoy a free 30-minute body jam session after the race. Runners who come with their moms may also avail of beauty treats for moms and girls such as free eyebrow threading. All finishers will get special loot bags from the STAR.
Registration will be accepted on site during race day. The 5k starts at 6 a.m., and the 2.5k at 6:15. Run for Mom is presented by STAR in celebration of its 25th anniversary and co-presented by Wilkins.
