Oxygen rules the air at Philippine Fashion Week

-

MANILA, Philippines - Oxygen is all set to showcase key fall-winter trends in this year’s Philippine Fashion Week.

“Once more, we are very excited and proud to showcase an entirely new line of outfits perfect for people who have the passion for style and the most discriminating taste for fashion. We are ready to make history and surprise everyone with a spectacular runway show,” says Oxygen brand director Jeffrey Bascon.

A master of sophisticated minimalist yet totally unpredictable fashion, Oxygen will bring together popular, chic crazes such as free-form knits, contrast panels and concrete tailoring. “Engineered imperfection, controlled randomness”— the perfect words to describe the knitwear to be featured in the show. These beautifully draping items with crafty designs will be one of the show’s premiere highlights.

Rounding out Oxygen’s fashion explosion is its concrete tailoring. One can expect a modish mash-up of elements such as clean cuts, sharp lines, structure and fit.

At the after-party, guests will party with one of the world’s hottest DJ duos, The Misshapes. Based in New York City, the DJ team is composed of Geordon Nicol and Leigh Lezark who dominate the international club scene for other projects as well, including a style book published by the MTV press, remixes for indie rock and electronica bands and film soundtracking, and even fashion journalism and photography. In fact, Lezark, a front row VIP in foreign fashion weeks, has also had print campaigns with Henry Holland, Gap, Roberto Cavalli for H&M and is a brand ambassador for Chanel.
