NBS Bestsellers: A real hit
MANILA, Philippines - Another specialty store belonging to the National Book Store family is Bestsellers. Like its name implies, Bestsellers sells all books. It is located at Robinsons Galleria, SM Annex North Edsa, St. Luke’s in Bonifacio Global City, and The Podium (the last is an exception as it carries also school supplies because there is no NBS in the mall).
Bestsellers is the place to go for book lovers and parents who want to supplement their kids’ textbooks with fiction and non-fiction books to encourage their reading habits. They also carry language books for parents who want to grow multilingual children.
Nanay Socorro says, “My theory is, let children read something they really like. So if it’s Harry Potter, so be it, but at least they’re reading. It doesn’t matter if it’s not in the curriculum. Don’t force them to read history or literature if they have no interest in it because they’re not going to read those books. If they like dinosaurs, then buy them books on dinosaurs.”
Remember what they say about children: Their minds are like sponges. Pour all the knowledge in them while they’re young — they will thank you for it later in life.
