NBS Book Express: Your convenience bookstore

-

MANILA, Philippines - Where to go when you need to buy school supplies real fast and you don’t have time to go to the mall and find parking? National Book Store brings convenience to communities where there are no malls nearby. Unknown to many, NBS has a chain of “convenience bookstores” in various parts of Metro Manila.

Nanay Socorro Ramos explains that NBS Book Express is meant to be a neighborhood bookstore that conveniently serves surrounding residents who may not have the time to go to the malls where the larger National Book Store branches are usually located.

The stores are smaller but still carry the complete assortment of school and office supplies that are often associated with National Book Store. In addition, the stores also carry basic reference books, bestsellers, bargain books and other services such as mobile phone load and photocopying. Other convenience store lines such as food, drinks, personal and home care items are also available.

NBS Book Express has 12 stores at C&P Mall, Sitio Palmera, Marikina City; 4 Plaza Col. Flores, San Nicolas, Pasig City; 373 Retiro St., Sta. Mesa Heights, QC; Anonas St., Proj. 3, QC; AJ Building, A.
