Cosmopolitan/urban summer fashion at Podium

MANILA, Philippines - The Podium, the upscale mall in Ortigas Center, presented the spring/summer collection of its upmarket stores in a fashion show last Feb. 26 at the mall Atrium.

The show fused together modern and contemporary cosmopolitan fashion and hip and chic urban style. Inspired by the spirit of Zen, the show was divided into three segments that celebrated the best of summer: Sand, Stone, and Smoke.

Sand was all about beach, water, and a day in the sun, with fun, quirky, and trendy clothes. It featured clothes from IZOD, Speedo, Be, Gingersnaps, Cole Vintage, and Folded and Hung, accessories from The Hur and Victorinox and shoes from Sueno de Espadrilles.

Stone exuded evening glamour with subtle and elegant summer styles. This segment was definitely fashion forward with clothes from BYSI, Willow, Esprit, Marithe Francoise Girbaud, Bonbon, Malu Veloso, and Letlet Veloso, complemented with accessories from Fino and shoes from CMG.

Smoke celebrated the party and club scene, presenting city life in modern, youthful, and hip clothes from M)phosis, Topman, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, URU, The Ramp Crossings, accessories from Michelis and shoes from Lacoste Footwear and The Ramp.

The Australian College of Hair Design sponsored the hair and makeup, while Burgoo provided the cocktails.
