All star weekends at SM City Rosario

MANILA, Philippines - When SM City Rosario opens today, it will not only bring the shopping and leisure excitement SM Supermalls have been known for, but also entertainment fun to residents of this bustling town in Cavite.

Jason Abalos and Maja Salvador stars of ABS-CBN’s teleserye Nagsimula sa Puso will meet and greet shoppers on opening day, today. Maja, who is a member of the Ultimate Dance Four of ASAP, is known as the Dance Princess of the Philippines. A member of the famous Salvador showbiz clan, it’s in the genes as they say, and she has proven her acting skills in the top rated teleserye May Bukas Pa. Jason, a member of the Star Magic circle, has starred in several teleserye like Eva Fonda and Pedro Penduko. On the big screen, he won the Gawad Urian Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie Endo.

Eight former housemates in the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up reality series, on the other hand, will make a stop at the mall tomorrow, Nov. 21. Delio, Jim, JP, Kenny, Toffi, Princess, and Tom will entertain Cavitenos during their mall tour.

Capping the opening weekend will be a visit by Sam Milby, one of the hottest young actors in the country, on Sunday, Nov. 22. This young heartthrob has thrilled fans as a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother, where he was discovered, and hit movies like And I Love You So, You Are the One, You Got Me, and Close to You. He is one of the lead actors in the Star Cinema blockbuster Ang Tanging Pamilya.

There’s more entertainment fun in the weekend ahead as Hale performs during the WI-FI launching of SM City Rosario on Friday, Nov. 27. During the same time, local bloggers get a chance to win cool prizes in the bloggers event.

Jolina Magdangal, one of the mainstays of GMA’s Adik Sa’yo, and host of the TV talent search Starstruck, will entertain her fans on Saturday, Nov. 28. Matinee idol Gabby Concepcion, who is currently making waves in the ABS-CBN teleserye Dahil May Ibang Ikaw, will thrill generations of fans who will get to see him up close and personal on Sunday, Nov. 29.

There’s more to look forward to as Christmas nears. Upcoming artist Myrus will promote his latest album “Love Recycled Package” on Friday, Dec. 4. Best known for his rendition of Sayang, Myrus received an Asian Star Entertainment Award 2008 as the Most Promising RnB Performer.

Talented Caviteneos, on the other hand, will have a chance to show what they’ve got in the audition of Talentadong Pinoy on Saturday, Dec. 5. Hosted by Ryan Agoncillo, Talentadong Pinoy, is a reality talent search patterned after the iconic America’s Got Talent, where a variety of performers like singers, dancers, actors, musicians, impressionists, acrobats, jugglers, and musicians compete.
