Philippine Fashion Week designers play up Sea Residences lifestyle
MANILA, Philippines - The magnificent expanse of the sea and the dynamic cosmopolitan Manila milieu is the takeoff point for the one-night show of high fashion to be presented by SM Residences and the Philippine Fashion Week tomorrow at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex.
The SM Residences presentation is part of the Philippine Fashion Week, which will run from May 26 to June 3, 2009. It will be highlighted by simultaneous fashion shows of over 101 designers happening at the SMX Convention Center and the Atrium of SM Mall of Asia.
Complementing the luxe appeal of Fashion Week, the SM Residences is known for residential condominium projects that are truly practical investments, allowing residents to enjoy five-star living in homes that combine practical designs and subdued elegance.
During this one-night show, SM Residences and Fashion Week will highlight high-fashion pieces inspired by Sea Residences, a residential condominium project where urban life is eased up by a tropical touch. Interpreting the upscale Sea Residences lifestyle into fashion is young designer Michelle Lim. Her collection, dubbed as “Luxe Rocks”, luxuriously features texture, contrast, gloss, gleam, sheen, gold, and goddess glitz.
The luxurious Sea Residences places dwellers at the center of all the action as it is located at the Mall of Asia Complex, where everything is within reach – the most happening leisure and business hubs, plus the magnificent bay that gives the best view of Manila’s sunset.
Philippine Fashion Week designers play up Sea Residences…
It offers a refreshing, new concept in condo living because residents get to experience the conveniences of city living against a backdrop of the sea and a dash of green. Its six towers house spacious condominium units from where one can catch a glimpse of the soothing Manila Bay or the breathtaking Makati skyline. Within the community lies a tropical alcove flanked by trees and greeneries, swimming pool, playgrounds, a clubhouse and more. Like the world of goods available at any SM mall, the five-star qualities of Sea Residences truly make it a worthy investment.
Amid the luxurious ambiance of Sea Residences, as presented in its well-appointed showroom, fashion creations by some of Philippine Fashion Week designers were elegantly assembled and photographed. Designers Shanon Pamaong, Ronaldo Arnaldo, Arnold Galang, Gerry Katigbak, M Barreto, Jeffrey Rogador, and Sassa Jimnez each presented fashion pieces that beautifully conveyed luxurious five-star living. These were photographed by Dix Perez and modeled by Kaye Agnes and Marc Nash. Make up was done by Al de Leon of Makeup Forum, hair by Archie Valencia, and styling by Roumel Itum. These creations hit the runway at the SM Residences presentation on May 30.
