Walk the talk and raise funds for paws

MANILA, Philippines - Get your walking shoes ready as The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and Sassa Activewear invite dog owners to join “The Six-Legged Walkathon,” a fun activity for a cause on Oct. 6 at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall to celebrate World Animal Day 2012.  

Registration begins at 5:30 a.m. or you can pre-register at the PAWS Animal Shelter or at select Animal House Branches. You will need to bring your dog’s updated vaccination records on the day of the event, as this will be checked by the marshals.

The P350 registration fee comes with a singlet and a bandana for your dog. This is the perfect way to get fit and bond with your fur baby while helping animals as proceeds from the event will go to the medical treatment of the rescued dogs and cats at the PAWS Shelter.
