Hush Puppies celebrates 50 years with art exhibit

-

MANILA, Philippines - Hush Puppies marks its 50th anniversary with “A Different Dog Show” exhibit on view until March 5 at the Eastwood Mall, Eastwood City, Libis. Thirty young artists, 12 years old and below, depict Hush Puppies’ beloved dog icon – the Basset Hound — in playful poses, mostly in bright primary colors complemented with amusing titles. The first Hush Puppies dog icon appeared in 1958, when the brand was born.

The artworks will be shipped to Hush Puppies headquarters in Rockford, Michigan, where they will be shown together with other works of artists from around the world.
