MANILA, Philippines — Richo Bautista, the 39-year-old high school teacher from Cavite who became more popularly known as Aling Nena, revealed that he will be more focused on school work during the general community quarantine due to novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com, Richo said he will create a limited number of videos for "Kapitbahay Serye" fans and will focus more on being a teacher.

Richo rose to fame after his videos of Mars, her daughter Feliza and Aling Nena trended in different social media sites, giving birth to the saying “Walang ganun, Mars.”

He said he began creating videos on Tiktok last December 2019 but failed to produce viral ones until his niece suggested a storyline.

When asked what he felt about giving laughter to fellow Filipinos during the lockdown, Richo said he was overwhelmed.

He also shared what he learned from becoming an online sensation during the pandemic.
