Over 7,500 from commerce, finance industry to gather in 2-day Seamless Philippines
MANILA, Philippines — Seamless Philippines 2019 will open its doors to bring together the entire Philippines’ commerce and finance ecosystem to innovate, transform and disrupt.
This year’s Seamless Philippines will be held on September 25 and 26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay.
On Day 1, guest of honor and commissioner of Securities Exchange and Commission Ephyro Luis Amatong will kickstart the keynote plenary session.
The session will also feature insights from Christopher James Payne, president of Veritaspay and Angelica Sarmiento, Department of Finance Director IV.
The afternoon will also bring keynotes on “Driving innovation in banking” by Lito Villanueva, executive vice president and chief Innovation and inclusion officer of RCBC, and Pat Del Castillo, client solutions manager of Facebook, will tackle “Conversational commerce: The new age of commerce.”
On 26 September, Aida Yuvienco, Department of Information and Communications Technology Director for Government Digital Transformation Bureau, will deliver a keynote on the Philippine government’s digital transformation.
Martin Yu, head of Business Intelligence at Shopee, will share insights into their omni-channel strategy, and Joey Concepcion, presidential advisor for entrepreneurship and founder of GoNegosyo, will explore the future of digitalization for MSMEs.
In addition to the highlighted keynote speakers, over 120 other experts will share their insights across seven topics namely payments, retail, e-commerce marketing, e-commerce strategy, banking, financial inclusion, and identity.
