Canadian PM Justin Trudeau becomes the latest Marvel superhero
MANILA, Philippines — Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once again makes headlines, but this time, not for his political deeds but for being Marvel's latest action hero.
On Wednesday, Trudeau, currently one of the most popular politicians around, made his comic book debut in Civil War II: Choosing Sides #5.
While he is used to fighting off the lawbreakers in the halls of Canada's Parliament, his character makes him do so in the boxing ring.
Trudeau, wearing maple-emblazoned tank top, boxing shorts and a gloves, also appears on the one of two covers of the latest edition.

According to New York Times, the original draft of the cover featured Trudeau with bare chest. However, it was revised after concluding that it might be too daring or risqué, given his reputation.
"I was going for a little bit of, I guess, a little bit of attitude, a little bit of smugness, like you don't know if he's already been boxing for a little bit and he's going back in, or he's just starting out and gearing himself up," says Ramon Perez, the cartoonist behind the depictions of Trudeau in the National Public Radio.
Meanwhile, netizens all over the world has already expressed their excitement over the issue. Who wouldn't?
