LOOK: Pia Wurtzbach's elegant float for homecoming parade
MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines is ready for the most beautiful day in the universe.
With Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach's arrival this coming Saturday, everything is all set including the specially-designed float that she will use on her grand parade, which is one of the most anticipated parts of her grand homecoming.
Designed by Fritz Solirio, the elegant float carries the motif white and royal blue, the color of the beauty queen's winning gown during the 64th Miss Universe pageant.

The float will also carry upfront the bejeweled crown design as it traverses the streets of Manila, Quezon City and Makati. The parade will start at 1:30 p.m. from the Sofitel Hotel in Pasay City before making its way to Roxas Boulevard and Buendia.
Thousands of Filipinos are expected to welcome the country's third Miss Universe. Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has already released on Thursday the list of routes which will be affected by the homecoming parade.
