MANILA, Philippines – As the Star Wars fever continues to heat up, Globe Telecom held a grand galactic celebration that brought fans, families and even non-fans an exciting experience ahead of the much-awaited screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" on Dec. 17, 2015.
“As the much-awaited premiere is coming up, we wanted to welcome you to this Star Wars experience. And as you have a look around here today, we’ve pulled together brands from across the Star Wars franchise—whether it’s fashion to the latest Sphero BB8—the Star Wars park is here for you as a Star Wars fan and for the families as well,” Globe senior advisor for consumer business Dan Horan said at the opening night.
Globe installed a free-for-all play hub at Bonifacio High Street Central ampitheater where attendees saw a lightsaber show, tested their skills at a Jedi training camp, experienced the Star Wars Battlepod, won different games, grabbed special Star Wars prizes, and bought exclusive Star Wars merchandise from different brands like Filbar’s, Toys ‘R Us, Folded & Hung, Havaianas, and Hobbes and Landes.
