MANILA, Philippines - Proving that having an impaired left arm cannot stop him from doing what he loves, Sixto Ducay bagged the second place at the recently concluded 2015 Asian Triathlon Confederation (ASTC)Paratriathlon Championships held at Subic Bay, Zambales.
Ducay, 47 has been racing with an impaired left arm since 2010. At the age of eight, he was already diagnosed with polio, making the muscles in his left arm underdeveloped.
He made the Filipinos proud as he is the only Filipino triathlete qualified in the World Paratriathlon series in Edmonton, Canada and the Chicago paratriathlon.
