Celebrating Russia

The hardworking and well-respected Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the Philippines Igor Khovaev and his lovely wife Maria Ilina, in partnership with the Moscow Conservatory, recently ensured the success of the Russian National Day by bringing in two supremely talented musicians from Russia. High-ranking government officials, dignitaries, members of the diplomatic corps and businessmen gathered together at the Rizal Ballroom of Shangri-La Makati, Manila and were treated to the heavenly symphonies of beloved composers Tsaikovsky and Rakhmaninov which were expertly performed by pianist Ivan Koshcheev and baritone Kyrill Komarov. It was a magical, unforgettable way to celebrate the Day of Russia.
