Bellevue Welcomes the Yuletide Season
The Bellevue Hotels & Resorts (BH&R) officially welcomed the most wonderful time of the year with the recent Christmas tree lighting ceremony held at the company’s flagship five-star property, The Bellevue Manila in Filinvest, Alabang. Attended by BH&R chairman Johnny Chan alongside his sons The Bellevue Manila managing director Patrick Chan, B Hotels managing director Ryan Chan and The Bellevue Resort managing director Dustin Chan, this year’s yuletide ceremony was a simultaneous voice-activated lighting of the Christmas trees across all BH&R properties. The hotel group also announced its partnership with World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines for the Ayoko ng Plastik and Just One campaigns as Johnny Chan turned over BH&R’s official donation box to WWF Philippines president and CEO Jose Angelito Palma.

The Embassy of Chile in the Philippines, in partnership with Dusit Thani Manila, recently held the first ever Chile Gastronomic Week at the hotel’s The Pantry Restaurant. Under the transcendent leadership of Ambassador of Chile Jose Miguel Capdevila and his lovely wife Veronica Foxley, the guests from the diplomatic, business and social sectors enjoyed the culinary treasures of Chilean cuisine through the sumptuous dishes expertly prepared by Chilean chef Matías Mardones. The skilled chef brought pride and honor from the Land of Poets by giving the guests a taste of national specialties from the north, center and the south of Chile. The festival also highlighted Chile’s national beverage, the Pisco Chile, alongside high quality wines.
