Spreading smiles the Belo way
In celebration of its 25th year in the beauty industry, the country’s leading aesthetic dermatology and cosmetic surgery clinic Belo Medical Group — under the excellent leadership of CEO and founder Dr. Vicki Belo — organized a medical mission called “All Smiles for Belo 25.” Held in partnership with Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center (JRRMMC), the event’s goal was to bring back the smiles of children with cleft palate. Present during the mission were Belo doctors and staff headed by the hardworking Dr. Belo and JRRMMC surgeons, nurses and medical professionals. Further strengthening its partnership with JRRMMC, the Belo Medical Group also helped with the renovation of the hospital’s post anesthesia care unit.
Of excellent and responsible journalism
Three outstanding journalists were honored by Metrobank Foundation Inc. (MBFI) as “Journalists of the Year 2015” (JOY) in a conferment ceremony held at the Metrobank Plaza auditorium in Makati City. Awardees Howie Severino, Marites Vitug and Nancy Carvajal were bestowed with the prestigious recognition by MBFI president Chito Sobrepeña, and guest of honor and speaker Supreme Court chief justice Maria Lourdes Sereno. In partnership with Probe Media Foundation Inc. (PMFI) under the leadership of founder and president Cheche Lazaro, the search for JOY recognizes excellence in Philippine journalism across all media platforms – television, radio, print, and online.
