Luxury cars zoom into Cebu

Auto Nation Group (ANG), the exclusive distributor of such classic American and German marques, has appointed fast-rising Global Star Motors Corp. (GSMC) to bring these prestigious brands to the sophisticated market in the Visayas region starting with its flagship hub in Cebu.
During the inauguration of the state-of-the-art showroom and facility, GSMC president Edward Onglatco together with his supportive team led by retired Ambassador Francisco Benedicto as the board’s chairman and his fellow incorporators Kenneth O Huan as senior vice president, Barbara Gothong-Tan as treasurer and Augusto Go as chairman emeritus, reiterated their commitment to cater to the Cebuano’s discriminating taste and sophisticated sense of style which are reflected in the form and function of these reputable brands.
Gracing the event were government officials led by provincial governor Hilario Davide III and Mayor Michael Rama. They were joined by South East Asia Daimler president and CEO Wolfgang Huppenbauer, Asia Pacific Fiat Chrysler Automobile country manager Fraser Callum, Auto Nation Group chairman Greg Yu and president Felix Ang, both representing Auto Nation Group, the Global Star family and Cebu’s discerning guests.
In line with the grand opening of the newly-appointed Mercedes-Benz dealership in Cebu, technical specialist Tommy Hart, also known as the “Flying Doctor” flew in for a one-on-one consultation with Mercedes Benz car owners. He will also be working with Global Star’s technicians and service advisors in applying the standard active reception process for owners to get the best performance out of their Mercedes Benz units.
The ultra-modern showroom was built according to Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler group’s exacting standards and will offer full vehicle line-up including its latest models. Likewise the service center and repair shop are equipped with highly sophisticated modern equipment which are ready for service when the need arises.
