Gerald Santos performs at Discovery Suites

 Discovery Suites offers “A Suite Valentine.” On Feb. 14 at 7 p.m., Gerald Santos will perform at Serendipity Lounge. Diners can look forward to a three-course menu with a choice of oven-braised USDA short ribs or pan-roasted Norwegian salmon served with tartufata potato purée and pencil asparagus. Tickets to the dinner concert is P3,500. The Suite Valentine package is offered at P9,500+ for a Junior Serendipity Suite inclusive of two dinner concert tickets and breakfast at Restaurant 5. On the second night, the rate is at P4,000+ only.  Guests can enjoy a Suite Valentine with room rates starting at P4,300+ for a Junior Serendipity Suite, inclusive of breakfast for two, complimentary Wi-Fi and parking, and access to Balance Gym and the swimming pool. On Wednesdays and Fridays, Tricia Rivka-Garcia performs at Serendipity Lounge from 7 to 9 p.m.

A taste of France at Le Jardin

Le Jardin Manila offers a special menu for Valentine’s Day.

For P3,250+ (VAT inclusive), diners get a four-course meal with a choice of the following starters: Duo de foie gras aux noix et canard confit, coulis de fruit de la passion et salade de bettrave (duo of walnut crusted foie gras and duck confit with mango-passionfruit coulis and beetroot salad) or duo de foie gras poêlé et de boudin noir maison avec compote de pommes (duo of seared foie gras and house-made boudin noir with apple compote). Savor dishes like ravioli de langouste et sauce à la langouste et aux oursins (ravioli langouste with langouste-oursin sauce) or coquilles st jacques poêlées et  sauce à la langouste et aux oursins (seared scallops with langouste-oursin sauce). Mains feature  filet de boeuf rossini (beef tenderloin with foie gras and truffle sauce) or filet de mérou en papillotte aux champignons (pacific grouper with cepes, button mushrooms, and truffle butter). Finish it off with either mille-feuille au chocolat et fruits rouges (mille-feuille of chocolate mousse and berries) or mousse au chocolat blanc et red velvet (red velvet and white chocolate mousse cake). Add a bottle of Crémant (French sparkling wine) at P4,450+ (VAT inclusive) for couples sets or a minimum of two pax. Diners can also opt for the set menu at P500/head, which features cote de boeuf entrée for couples set or a minimum of two pax (limited supply only). The Valentine’s Day menu will be offered on Feb. 14 and 15.
