Versatile home concepts at East Gallery Place

CRAZY QUILT - Tanya T. Lara - The Philippine Star

Life changes, so should your home. But that’s not so easy to do when you live in a condominium unit and renovating it is difficult and expensive. But what about one that’s designed to be versatile from when you move in and then can change with you as your life does?

Ayala Land Premier, the premium home company of Ayala Land, held a media launch last month to show just how versatile East Gallery Place’s living spaces are.

Ayala Land Premier head Jose Juan Z. Jugo says, “East Gallery Place offers the luxury of choice. We have six residential formats presenting a versatile selection of living experiences. They are distinct not only in size or unit features, but also in the way they were intended to be used, for the present and the future. East Gallery Place is also a residence that builds on the Ayala Land Premier legacy of delivering products that build value over time. We create residences of the highest quality and design that are valued today and in the generations to come.”

The residential spaces were designed to evolve as the buyer moves on to varying life stages.

Located at 11th Ave. corner 28th St. in Bonifacio Global City, the 50-storey East Gallery Place will have 407 units in north and south wings. Sizes range from 76 to 648 sqm., and will have a bi-level five-bedroom penthouse unit that’s 1,400 sqm.

According to Cattleya Moya, ALP project head, “The North Wing will have a maximum of nine units per floor with one to four-bedroom units offering finishes such as European-grade kitchens, wood flooring from sustainable sources and homogenous tile finishes.”

Jugo and Moya  explain that East Gallery will have the Flex units (Flex 2 and 3), which were planned without interior partitions and can be configured into one to three-bedroom units based on the resident’s style, needs and preferences. “Should a single person marry, or go into a home business, the unit offers the flexibility of being reconfigured to have a larger bedroom or to create space for a home office.”

Then there are the Skyrise units or the penthouse units. These are three to four-bedroom residences with only six units per floor from the 48th to 50th floors.

Jugo adds, “In the South wing there will be a maximum of two units per floor. Elevators open to the unit’s private foyer. We have the Skysuites, which are unmatched in privacy. These are three to limited four-bedroom suites with an approximate average area of 200 sqm.

“There are 11 units of the Skycove Aqua in the South Wing, which evokes a private cove in the sky. The Skycove Aqua features an 80-sqm. balcony that opens up to a private plunge pool or pool deck. The Villas are a pioneering concept by ALP, and there are only four of them in this structure. These are four-bedroom units with four levels of living space featuring a personal pool, deck, gourmet kitchen, a double-volume living area, auxiliary kitchen and personal elevator. The Villas will seem like a townhouse within a condominium building.”

Jugo  says that the development will feature a selection of restaurants and fashion brands consistent with High Street South, that exclusive area of the BGC, that will be open to the public. For the residents’ private use are function rooms, a boardroom, lap pool with adjacent deck, a gym, an indoor children’s play area and concierge  services.

East Gallery Place will be turned over to homeowners in 2019.
