The art of Jewelle

MANILA, Philippines - An artistic force who will definitely make her mark in the world of art is Jewelle Yeung. Her first exhibit at 856 G Gallery in Mandaue City, Cebu was well-attended by the city’s literati and glitterati.  Jewelle graduated from the City and Guilds of London Art School with a master’s degree in Fine Art, majoring in oil painting. After an initial foray in print design, Jewelle decided to come back to Asia to pursue her passion in painting.  To date, she has exhibited in galleries in New York and Hong Kong.  Seen admiring Jewelle’s artworks in Cebu were Amparito Lhuillier, Rose Hennessy, Elvira Luym, Teresin Mendesona,  Bo Hauri, singer Leo Valdez, and Jewelle’s proud parents Carlos and Mariquita Yeung.
