Major Homes launches first mobile model unit

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Noted for its innovative “Space” condormitel developments, property developer Major Homes has raised the bar once again to deliver the first mobile model unit in the country.

The unit is a mobile trailer that showcases a fully furnished unit complete with three beds, showing Major Homes’ innovativeness when it comes to meeting the demands of every possible homeowner.

â€œThe first of its kind in the property sector, the mobile trailer is a rolling model unit that helps increase awareness on the project as it allows us to showcase the four Space developments in Luzon where there are still a lot of untapped investors,” explained by Quinto Oreta, president of Major Homes Inc.

The mobile model unit is set to travel across Luzon and promote Space Taft, Space San Marcelino, Space Romualdez, and the recently launched Space U-belt.

Like the previous Space developments, Space U-belt is strategically located at the heart of the university belt and is seen to benefit more than 350,000 students who seek comfort and convenience. However, it is not only the students who are set to benefit from Space U-belt. Investors can rent out their units on a per bed basis, Oreta stressed.

The Space series is currently Major Homes’ most successful type of development that employs the “condormitel” concept. It operates as a condominium dormitory and hotel in one building, targeting students, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) workers and transient residents seeking an upgrade from the typical bedspace setting. Each of the units will be fully furnished with a minimum of three beds and study desks. The Space series also employs a “sachet business model” that enables future owners to rent units on a per bed basis, thus giving the development a strong rental component with attractive returns.

All Space developments feature facilities and amenities such as an air-conditioned lobby, a sky garden, standby emergency power, security card key, centralized garbage collection, high-speed elevator, CCTV, study hall and retail outlets — all of which would help ensure a convenient and comfortable living experience.

Major Homes is also further expanding its target market, following the introduction of its latest tagline, “Welcome home.” The company, according to Oreta, is poised to cater to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) as well, to provide hardworking Filipinos more chances of realizing their dreams to own quality homes and have income-generating investments.

â€œThe new tagline embodies our desire to make the buyers feel at home with us and also for OFWs to feel that they have a home with Major Homes,” Oreta concluded.

Major Homes is a full-serviced real estate development company with interests and initiatives in affordable housing, middle- income condotels (condominium-hotel) and high-rise condormitels (condominium-dormitory-hotel).
