Club Bulakeño holds fundraising event today

MANILA, Philippines -Club Bulakeño is holding a  fundraising event  today, 6:30 p.m., at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza for the victims of typhoon Yolanda. The announcement was made by Zenaida Tantoco, chairwoman of this year’s celebration.

The founders of Club Bulakeño, engineer Gene  and his wife Lydia Reyes, with  Tantoco have decided that all proceeds of the event will go to the victims of typhoon Yolanda. Club Bulakeño will be working closely with Gawad Kalinga to build homes for the victims of the typhoon.

 Many corporate sponsors and patrons have pledged to the project but Club Bulakeño hopes to collect more during the evening’s fundraising.
