Belo Medical Group: Truly world-class

All the hard work has definitely paid off for the country’s leading dermatology and cosmetic surgery center, the Belo Medical Group (BMG), led by founder and medical director Dr. Vicki Belo and assistant medical director Dr. Philip Buñag, as the company was recently named the first-ever Philippine medical-aesthetic outpatient clinic to get accreditation from the prestigious National Accreditation Board of Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) International. NABH International is an official accrediting institution under the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), as represented by joint director Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Rana. The said accreditation is a step-by-step process wherein a hospital or healthcare facility is required to comply its operations to world-class standards. During the accreditation process, NABH International sends assessors to a hospital and other healthcare facility to evaluate its operations, treatments and services based on a set of 63 standards and 294 objective elements. These elements cover critical areas of Patient Care, Management of Medication, Infection Control, Facility Management and Safety, HR and IMS, among others.
