Plantation Bay goes to Japan

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

For two weeks, the hardworking sales and marketing team of Plantation Bay Resort and Spa visited Japan, traveling to four cities namely Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka to promote both the thrills and tranquility that can be found in the first-class resort in Mactan Island, Cebu.   Plantation Bay hosted an appreciation night in each city and invited the Department of Tourism Japan, travel agencies and media partners.  Plantation Bay’s genial general manager Efren Belarmino led the talented resort staff in the highly popular dinner shows with themes such as Hawaiian Luau, Brazilian Fever, Sahara Nights, Viva España, Rockin’ USA and our very own Filipino Fiesta — in presenting a showcase that tops all vacation destinations.

Market-driven leadership

The Madrigal Bayot Development Corporation (MBDC) has its marketing on track with its vision of promoting The Address at Wack Wack as Mandaluyong City’s first real luxury boutique condominium.  The project has been designed exclusively for its discriminating customers whose desire for prestige and privacy would always be the prime consideration.  Manning the controls, so to speak, is the savvy Francisco T. Bayot, MBDC’s vice president for marketing. While also in charge of playing a professional role in construction, he oversees the management of its brokers and agents as well as formulates various strategic programs that aim to improve its dominance in its chosen segment.  Taking his cue from his father, MBDC president Francisco “Jun” Madrigal Bayot, Paco, as he is fondly called, has learned to be hands-on in approaching every assignment given him from overseeing construction details to delivering sales targets. After attending boarding school in Massachusetts, Paco went to New York for his college education, earning a bachelor of arts degree in East Asian Studies, Minors in both Mathematics and History.  This background helped him to be attuned with the intricacies of identifying the needs not only of his customers but his subordinates as well.   Through Paco’s stewardship and goal of expanding globally, MBDC has partnered with District 65, a fast-rising real estate agency in Singapore, as its exclusive marketing partner in Malaysia, Singapore and China.  With 300 agents, District 65 provides the backdrop for international operations while the in-house group takes care of the local market. Truly, this game-changing and market-driven approach will surely propel MBDC to become a dominant force in the industry,  making the Madrigal-Bayot family as another force to reckon with in the highly competitive environment of the real estate business.
