Excitement fills new Siena Park Residences homeowner
MANILA, Philippines - Buying a house is exciting as it is the fulfillment of one’s dream. The excitement begins even before the house starts its construction. The feeling builds up as the ready-for-occupancy date approaches and when the homeowner finally gets the keys to his new house. But it doesn’t stop there, as the excitement grows on. It’s no wonder product communications manager Thea Gutierrez, a proud new owner of a two-bedroom unit at Siena Park Residences in Bicutan, Parañaque City, feels this way even when she is just about to move in.
“When I saw the unit in December, I said, ‘What do I do with you? Will I live here or not? Will I rent it out or sell it?’ My heart said, ‘Live in it,’†says Gutierrez of the DMCI Homes-built mid-rise condominium complex in Barangay Sun Valley in her third floor unit at the five-storey Citrine building, one of 11 residential buildings of Siena Park Residences.
Thea is excited about her would be lifestyle. She envisions herself living in this modern-tropical community. “I’m imagining how my day will be like. I’ll go swimming in the morning and then in the evening, when I return from work, I’ll go jogging,†she says. “I’m not getting any younger and I’m single,†explains the 32-year-old Thea. “I wanted a home under my own name and with an interior design that reflects my personality; I want a minimalist interior design but with bright colors,†she added.
Normally, the unit is the first to be experienced by the new homeowners. For Thea, it was the swimming pool, Siena Park’s main outdoor amenity that first caught her eye when she visited to see her unit for the first time. She brought her sister to Siena Park recently and they enjoyed a refreshing swim in the curvilinear pool.
The kiddie pool, trees, cabana, deck and the clubhouse surrounding the adult pool bring about a resort and vacation ambience all year round. Other outdoor amenities are the basketball court, garden trail, parks, well-landscaped open areas, and the playground. While the indoor amenities at the clubhouse are the entertainment, lounge and meeting room, fitness gym, game room and the functions room for social or family gatherings.
She plans to have the house blessed and hold a tea party by the poolside for friends as her house warming after she moves in.
Thea chose the DMCI Homes brand as she believes in the developer’s innovative and good quality craftsmanship.
“I was very inspired by a friend of mine who lives in Rosewood Pointe,†she adds, referring to the DMCI Homes community in Acacia Estates, Taguig City. “When I saw his three-bedroom unit, it was beautiful. I told myself, ‘I also want one like this.’â€
From Siena Park’s gated main entrance, a road leads to the West Service Road making it also accessible to major thoroughfares, public transportation, convenience stores, fast food chains, restaurants, coffee shops, churches, hospitals and commercial establishments.
She likes the modern tropical architecture of the buildings plus the very homey and resort-like feel of the entire community. Security is assured through guards on duty 24 hours a day, a gated entrance, perimeter fence, and automatic heat/smoke detection system in every unit.
“I got this (unit) because I want to feel the sunrise when I go to work in the morning,†she says. “It is spacious. It seems so good to sleep here.â€
Each residential building in Siena Park features single loaded hallways that open up to a garden space or a central landscape atrium instead of a neighboring door. This trademark feature of DMCI Homes communities allows in natural lighting, fresh flowing air, ventilation and optimum privacy.
