Ihop opens in BGC

MANILA, Philippines - Breakfast is becoming an all-day affair, thanks to the huge popularity of Ihop Restaurant in BGC.  The arrival of the iconic brand, known for serving the quintessential all-American breakfast of pancakes, omelets, waffles, French toast and great coffee, among many others, has been widely anticipated.  When it opened its doors to serve brewed coffee and pancakes to special guests, passersby were just as eager to try the restaurant.

Guest of honor US Ambassador Harry Thomas was among the early birds greeted by Global Restaurant Concepts Inc. (GRCI) president and CEO Archie Rodriguez, GRCI vice chairman Manuel Zubiri, CFO Griffith Go and board director Richard Santos.

Ihop director of international marketing Ana Hernandez and DineEquity Inc. manager for International operations Sonia Harris were among the Ihop officials present. 

This is not only the first Ihop Restaurant in the country, but the first in Asia.  Ihop is expected to open 20 more locations around Asia but breakfast-loving Filipinos now have a head start.
