A showcase of art and ancestry
A special exhibition of works of some of the country’s well-known families of artists was presented by Brittany Corporation, a subsidiary of the country’s premier homebuilder Vista Land, in partnership with Liongoren Gallery. “Color and Forms in Genes,†the extraordinary exhibit, was held at the main lobby of another masterpiece, the architectural opus — Avant at The Fort. Located at the heart of the upscale neighborhood of Crescent Park West in Bonifacio Global City, the 38-story Avant is a colossal piece of work — a beacon of green architecture. A 24/7 closed-circuit TV security and a full-service concierge are some of the amenities for an exclusive and modern style of living. Art enthusiasts and good friends were given a warm welcome by Vista Residences chief operating officer Maribeth Tolentino and Liongoren Gallery curator Norma Liongoren. Free form sculptures in bronze and wood by National Artist Napoleon Abueva and his son Mulawin, brass sculptures of the brothers Ferdinand and Michael Cacnio were among the featured artworks in the exhibit. EastWest Bank and ‘The King and I’
Theater aficionados and EastWest Bank (EastWest) clients marveled at the recent spectacular local production of The King and I.
