Jane Ebarle at Renaissance Gallery

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Jane Ebarle presents her latest artworks done with her characteristic “hibla” technique but with a different color scheme in a show that is on view at Renaissance Gallery.

Ebarle explains, “It will all be happy colors inspired by a happy heart.”

As the marketing head of Faber-Castell in the Philippines, Ebarle goes to different parts of the country where she tries to augment the vacuum in our art education’s curriculum by immersing our art educators into a fine-tuned art and creativity workshops. At this time, there are about 8,000 art teachers who have been benefitted by this program of Faber-Castell.

She also founded a group which she calls “Birthday Club,” recruited her closest friends to be members and eventually shared their art knowledge with the marginalized women among the urban poor hoping to alleviate the double burden that these women are experiencing.

Renaissance Gallery is at the fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.
