The spirit of Rizal lives on

MANILA, Philippines - During the celebration of the 151st anniversary of the birth of our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, the National Historic Commission of the Philippines conferred the distinguished Gawad Rizal (Institutional Category) to Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) for its role in promoting a culture of excellence among professionals and the ingenious use of bank resources in programs that inspire and empower Filipinos. The awarding held at the Rizal Shrine in Calamba City, Laguna was attended by distinguished personalities from the government, the academe, business sector and descendants of Rizal’s family.
