Rare art exhibit opens at Rockwell today
MANILA, Philippines - A one-of-a-kind art exhibit featuring the original works of the country’s famous and up-and-coming artists opens today, July 14, 10 a.m., at the One Rockwell East Function Room, Rockwell Center, Makati City.
Now in its second year, Objects D’Art will showcase elegant masterpieces in jewelry, furniture and other art forms designed for prestigious brands by Celine Gabriel Lim and Andrea Martel for Gabriel Martel, Natalya Lagdameo and Erica Concepcion-Reyes for Riqueza, Bea Ledesma & Ria Prieto for Narra, Jia Santos Estrella, Maxine Syjuco, Dante Dizon and Noli Coronado for 13 Lucky Monkeys, and Michelline Syjuco, Maco Custodio, Grace Guinefollean, Rosie Anne Yabut and Objets D’Art organizers Nicole Whisenhunt and Malou Romero, two of the country’s highly respected accessory designers.
Objets D’Art was conceived by Whisenhunt and Romero to boost the growth of the country’s design industry by providing the ideal venue for the great works of local artists.
This year’s exhibit, which is open up to 7 p.m., will include featured gallery Art Informal representing artists John Santos, Marina Cruz, Sandra Fabie-Gfeller, and a host of others.
The event enables art enthusiasts and patrons to shop comfortably and make their choices from among the widest array of latest art designs ever assembled for a one-day show.
