South and West Insula: Eco-friendly investments

-

MANILA, Philippines - EGI’s latest developments are at the heart of Quezon City — South Insula on Timog Avenue and West Insula on West Avenue.

West Insula is walking distance to SM North, TriNoma and the MRT Station. The 30-storey South Insula on Timog is close to various restaurants, bars, offices, spas are located. It is also in the middle of two major TV stations — ABS-CBN and GMA.

As developments of E. Ganzon Inc. (EGI), a company that has 29 years of experience as a builder and engineering company, South Insula and West Insula aim to elevate the benchmark of condominium living in the country.

Both Insulas feature a rain catchment system for domestic use. Water tanks of the rain catchment were increased in volume and capacity to take advantage of the natural largesse of nature. Since water is a precious commodity, EGI is doing its responsibility to save water.

The “passive cooling system” allows inflow of outside air in a more natural way. It eliminates the “sick building syndrome” (SBS), which stifles residents and causes a stuffy environment.

Eco friendly and healthy: The studio unit is just right for solo living

“Residents will not only enjoy a fresh and freely circulating atmosphere; they will also be able to save more energy and reduce reliance on air conditioning. Each unit has extended window eaves, which provide extra protection from rain and heat. It also prevents heat from getting trapped in the building and thus save on electricity,” said Bienvenido G. de Castro, vice president for external affairs of EGI.

Both Insula buildings also feature a utility control center, which allows unit owners to monitor and control the use of water and electricity.

There’s also the electrical load Balancing device, which is a patented invention of EGI. This innovation allows the flexibility of transferring unit loads in case some of the units are not being used by absentee owners.
