A holiday share-lebration with Nickelodeon
MANILA, Philippines - Christmas was definitely in the air when Nicksters showed they cared and shared at Nickelodeon’s “Share-lebration event.”
An estimated 3,000 Nicksters came with their families, bringing with them toys they donated to the kids of Gawad Kalinga last Dec. 10 at the Activity Center of Market! Market! Mall in Bonifacio Global City. The venue was filled to capacity and resounded with laughter and cheer from kids who were only too glad to give to make others happy this Christmas.
Nickelodeon gifted them with a December to remember. The fun started when hosts Angela and Slyde opened the program by setting off the slimy Nick-mas Tree. Kids enjoyed the free samples from Appebon Kid, yummy treats from Argentina Andale Hotdog, face-painting from Hapee Kiddie Toothpaste, an awesome display from Max Force, refreshing juice drinks from Zesto, and visits from the Appebon Kid, Aregentina Andale’s Andi and Lei, and the Hapee mascot. Kids also got their favorite toys from the Toy Kingdom booth. They had fun at the Share-lebration photo and various Christmas-themed booths such as the Christmas Tree Toss, Hooping Stars and Toy Kingdom’s Jingle Bells. Kids won goodies from the stage games inspired by their favorite Nick shows, and enjoyed the scientific experiments by Science Lab. Nicksters were likewise treated to a sneak peek of Nick’s new live-action show Grachi, airing on the channel this month.
At Nickelodeon’s Sharelebration are Gary Reyes, Gawad Kalinga (GK) coordinator, Batang Bayani, Bernard Segueg, GK Village Homeowner association president; Ray Gajo, GK head for Pasig and Pateros and host Slyde Danny Phantom, Kai-Lan, Diego, Dora the Explorer, Diego and SpongeBob SquarePants were all there to support this worthy cause.
Toy donations were non-stop as more and more Nicksters dropped their pre-loved and new toys in the Nickelodeon Share Box. All toys and cash tokens were turned over to Gawad Kalinga’s Gary Reyes and Rey Gajo, who lauded the kids for their generosity.
Nickelodeon’s Share-lebration was presented by Toy Kingdom and co-sponsored by Appebon Kid, Argentina Andale Hotdog, Hapee Kiddie Toothpaste, Max Force and Zesto.
