A North Pole Christmas at SM
MANILA, Philippines - All roads lead north this Christmas as SM City North EDSA brings Santa and the North Pole Village experience to the Skygarden of the country’s largest mall.
Kids and kids at heart will have the rare opportunity to chill at SM’s very own version of the North Pole in six houses scattered over the Skygarden. They can drop their wish list at Santa’s Mailroom, where there is a mountain of letters from kids, visit the Elves at the Toy Shop, where they pack Santa’s Christmas gifts, or meet the nine reindeer who help Santa deliver the gifts at the Reindeer Barn.
Kids may want to check out the delicious cakes and cookies at Mrs. Claus’s Kitchen, and catch the Jolly Old Man at Santa’s Den, where they can whisper more holiday wishes. To complete the North Pole experience, mallers can also have their photo taken with the Kissing Santa figures at the waterfalls.
The North Pole Christmas centerpiece was launched with a gift giving ceremony led by Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista and SM officials. Kids from Kaisang Buhay Foundation, World Vision, and Life Givers Association, and Gawad Kalinga received Christmas cheers and enjoyed a musical play Where is Santa Claus by Stages. A tour of the North Pole Village completed the children’s SM City North EDSA visit.
They also experienced Christmas in Legoland with the seven-meter Lego Christmas Tree at The Block’s Atrium. Every P 999.75 purchase of Lego products from SM North EDSA’s Toy Kingdom and Toy Express entitles one to join the contest and get a chance to win one of five Lego 10199 Winter Toyshops.
