Lakeside recreation at Eton City's South Lake Village

 Recently, grade school students from Angels in Heaven School in Cabuyao, Laguna had a grand time taking lessons in the field being offered by seasoned coaches from Manila Sharks Baseball Team. The event started off with warm-up exercises, followed by actual batting, pitching, and ball-catching sessions with Manila Sharks, the current North Division champs of Baseball Philippines.

The weekend event also saw families and friends of the students enjoying koi-feeding, fishing, kayaking, boating, and other lakeside activities.

Koi-feeding, fishing and kayaking are actually just a few of the leisure activities that families can enjoy at South Lake Village every day. In fact, nearly half of the village’s more than 70-hectare area is allotted to open space filled with playgrounds, tree-lined roads, linear parks along a river and lake-view corridors — where jogging, kite flying, biking, and even stargazing can be done.
