Living the healthy life at Anya Resorts

As an advocate of healthy living, Anya Resort and Residences recently treated its guests to a series of events promoting health and wellness, the most recent held at Discovery Country Suites, Tagaytay.

This event called, “Healthy Living at Anya,” centred on wellness through culinary arts as demonstrated by chef David Pardo de Ayala, the executive chef of the Discovery Group. 

Chef David’s demonstration focused on the fresh and natural ingredients readily available in Tagaytay.    He prepared a tomato confit by combining tomatoes, garlic, basil and thyme. The second dish, an insalata caprese, was a simple and delicious salad of tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella cheese and basil. To conclude chef David’s demo, samplers were handed out by the kitchen staff to the delight of the guests.

Roxaco’s executive chairman, Pedro Roxas then took the floor and gave the background on how Anya Resort and Residences started. With the family and Roxaco developments located mainly in Nasugbu, Batangas, management explored delving into leisure developments. The chosen location would complement the plan to include unique lifestyle services for the residents. With this in mind, they were then fortunate to learn of a beautifully landscaped 5.7-hectare property located in a serene and secluded area in Tagaytay.
