A more stylish and classy Calligaris
It was one fascinating evening as the ever charming and affable Florence Ko, managing director of FurnItalia, the country’s sole purveyor of Italian furniture, recently invited well-heeled guests from the social, business, and design circles to the opening of its newly renovated Calligaris showroom in Greenhills. The gracious host treated everyone to sumptuous cocktails and a preview of the latest, modernly sophisticated collection from Calligaris, a leading Italian designer, manufacturer and distributor of contemporary furniture founded by Antonio Calligaris. The premier brand is now co-owned by the L-Capital, the investment arm of international luxury goods group Louis Vuitton and Moet Hennessy (LVMH). During the affair, the attendees had the chance to witness the “new look” of Calligaris, which is perfectly in tune with the signature style and class embodied by these two major luxury brands. Guests were also toured to the ultra chic lifestyle showcases presenting the high-quality and well-designed products from the Italian furniture company including chairs, tables, beds, sofas, storage units and furnishing accessories.
