Mangan Yaman at Prado Farms, till we eat again!

-

MANILA, Philippines - Thinking of another great way for friends or family to spend time together? Less than two hours away from Manila, Prado Farms in Lubao, Pampanga opens its gates. Mangan Yaman Festival on May 14 and 15 provides a refreshing break for a weekend of culinary, artistic, and musical delights.

Hacienda Weekend

As you cross the distinctive LPG tank gate, you are welcomed with a refreshing drink of iced infusion of lemongrass tea grown from the garden. A leisurely morning minindal (merienda) sampler of pistou, some homemade kesong puti, Guagua pandesal, and longganisa with a hot cup of thick tsokolate await every visitor at the veranda.

For the Harvest Lunch, the Prado salad is a generous mix of freshly picked greens, from the common to the unusual, all healthy. Homegrown and handpicked before sunrise and served by noon. As the lunch is vegetarian-friendly, we will also serve our famous family specialty duck stuffed and arugula-fed organic Prado lechon and melt-in-your- mouth humba as optional main course.

One can take an afternoon siesta or get a soothing massage in any of the prepared cozy lounging areas as you are served with garden herb teas with local cookies and unlimited home made ice cream. Or you can take an afternoon tour of the farm and be introduced to biodynamic farming, jewelry exhibits, tea tasting, carabao rides and much more.
