Oriental treasures at Dimensione
MANILA, Philippines - Turn your gaze to the east as Dimensione presents its latest collection of Chinese cabinets and tables. From the land of storied woodwork and intricate ornamentation comes a whole array of incidental furniture and storage pieces that carry Oriental flavor, available at Dimensione branches.
Choose from painted closets with elegant brushwork, such as the Zen Bamboo and Swaying Leaves cabinets, calling to mind natural flora. There’s also the Song small cabinet with tiny black butterflies dotting its milky blue body. On the other hand, the birch wood Shari cabinet comes in gold-rimmed black or white versions, with an Oriental seal in the middle. There’s also a larger, wardrobe version called the Ling medium cabinet, or the Khan medium cabinet, which both have gold-edged black bodies. Such a regal color combination also appears on the Kyra medium cabinet, with gold butterflies strewn all over a black foundation.
For those looking for a more feminine storage option, the Kyra white medium cabinet is painted all over in a lovely chalk hue, while the Ming medium cabinet has silvery gray natural motifs running down its side. The Layla medium cabinet, on the other hand, comes in powder blue with cream Orientalia gracefully tracing its edges.
The same level of detail extends to the tables. For the side tables, the lamp table is a square-based table with a storage tray at the bottom. When it comes to consoles, a large version exists in the Ning, while a smaller version is the Mai, which has a squarish shape to it as well. There’s also the birch wood Namy coffee table, and the massive Yan sideboard table, and the charming Nano trunk, perhaps to stow your most prized treasures in.
Create a dynasty in your own home with the addition of one or two of these key pieces. Taken piecemeal, they also make charming additions to an eclectically designed space — a truly chic scheme in these modern times.
