Discovering a myriad of exciting Italian flavors
One of Makati’s outstanding restaurants, Caruso, recently brought the rich, vibrant flavors of Italy through the launch of its first ever “Wine and Cheese” night which happens every Tuesday from 8 p.m. onwards. Guests were treated to a fabulous selection of authentic Italian food imported from Milan, Bologna, and other various parts of Italy. A vast array of fine cheeses, succulent cold cuts, and salami, perfectly complemented with premium wines, were served to tantalize the gourmands’ discriminating palates. Everyone truly enjoyed the restaurant’s sumptuous feast, flawless service, and its immaculate, romantic setting. It’s no wonder that the Italian dining haven has become a favorite destination among society figures, expats, bankers, working professionals, and is patronized by majority of the foreign community. Thanks to the dynamic Caruso co-owner Dario Gardini for providing the exquisite, delectable food, ably assisted by his very professional and well-organized service staff. Bravo, Caruso!

Thriving in culture and friendship
The affable Friends for the Cultural Concerns of the Philippines (FCCP) immediate past president Minerva Tanseco continues to keep herself ultra busy with friends, the arts and social events. She recently invited a group of devoted pianists led by Ingrid Santamaria who performed the timeless pieces of the musical genius Frederick Chopin, followed by a show featuring the talented musicians from the Filfest Cultural Foundation’s recently concluded “Tutti Celli.” A festive gathering then ensued for the birthday of the charismatic Baby Antonio. Minerva was also recently chosen as one of the enforcers of the civic organization Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM) for her incomparable performance in the group. Cheers to the good life!
