UPCMC Alumni homecoming and reunion
MANILA, Philippines - The University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication Alumni Association (UPCMCAA) enjoins all alumni to the homecoming and reunion dubbed “CMC Goes UK” on Saturday, November 20, at the Plaridel Hall grounds in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
Direk Maryo J. delos Reyes, UPCMCAA President, said the day will start with an ukay-ukay bazaar at 10AM, followed by a tree planting ceremony at 3PM. Emceed by R.S. Francisco, Tuesday Vargas and Ambet Nabus, the fellowship and homecoming program is slated at 4PM.
Big and exciting raffles prizes await alumni attendees. Grand prizes are roundtrip tickets for two to Boracay and roundtrip tickets for two to Batanes care of SEAIR.
There will also be a “Project Fashionista” segment where the CMC student orgs will model outfits from the ukay-ukay finds. Election of officers for the 15-man Board of Directors will also take place. The UPCMCAA will also present three staff members the Outstanding Service Award. Live band by CMC alumnus and former congressman Ed Zialcita will regale everyone with music from different eras. Entertainers also include the Masculados, Rom Boys Club, and Pretty Young Thing (PYT).
